ABOUT CHEERS TO CHARITY
Supporting Tehachapi's non-profit organizations
Cheers to Charity is an annual fundraising event featuring vibrant music, amazing food, fine wines, craft and home brewed beers beneath the canopy of a beautiful Tehachapi August night.Established in 2014, it is our mission to financially improve small, charitable organizations – as they work to make a visible difference in the greater Tehachapi area. The team accomplishes the mission through annual community events designed to profile the essence of our mountain community: clean air, cool breezes, rugged landscapes, and warm inviting people.The Cheers to Charity committee takes great care to ensure that valued sponsors, volunteers and guests feel welcome and appreciated as we join together for the greater good! It is our pleasure to serve the community!Why Cheers to Charity:We know that not every local nonprofit organization has the time or resources to add an extra fund raising event to already busy schedules. Even those with staffing and volunteers, find fundraising to be a challenge, as many would rather spend their time providing much needed services. Fund-raising is a necessity that takes away from their mission.Thus, each year we select small, recipient non-profits from different areas of service. We have chosen agencies that feed the poor, train veterans, help cancer patients and support residents with special needs. We have funded equipment, training, outreach programs and community enhancements. We love helping organizations that are helping people.Our Goal is to provide attendees with a great event that they will prompt them to return year-after-year. In doing so, we will raise more money to be given to local charities. No money is paid to committee members for their time. It is our goal to Cheer On Tehachapi Charities!!We are organized under a 501c3 non-profit organization and as such, all donations, as well as a portion of ticket purchases are tax deductible (please speak to your tax specialist for details).
Wineries
WINERIESEach year select members of our Cheers To Charity team travel up and down the California Coast to select wines for this event. In the past we've had selections from Paso Robles, the Santa Maria Valley, Sonoma County, and the Central Coast as well as wines from our own back yard.Stay tuned as we update our selections for August 8, 2026. If wine is your thing, you won't be disappointed.
Breweries
There will definitely be good beer here. In previous years we've had selections from Advanced Beverage, LCB, Tehachapi Mountain Brewing, Westlane and Crusader Brewing. Check back to see who will be rocking the taps this year.
Restaurants
YOU WILL HAVE INCREDIBLE DINING OPTIONSDuring your time at Cheers to Charity you will have the opportunity to sample some truly delicious food from local restaurants! Plus, this year, the Chicken Shack is back!Your ticket will get you access to appetizers at all our restaurant tents as well as one food plate of your choice.VIPs will be provide with a catered meal just for you!
homebrew competition
One of the events that makes Cheers to Charity unique is our homebrewed beer competition. Homebrewers come from near and far to serve up their tasty beer to our guests.You be the judge! As a ticket holder, you can also be a judge in our 10th annual homebrew competition. Your entry entitles you to one judging card which allows you to taste each homebrewed beer and choose your favorite.At the end of the evening, votes are counted and the winning homebrewer is given a “Taster’s Favorite” metal
to show off.

Each year we have a Silent Auction with incredible packages to bid on. You will definitely find something to your liking. Just make sure to keep checking your bids before the clock runs out.
